Studio One worked extensively on this exciting and architecturally challenging scheme to significantly reconfigure a locally listed amalgamation of buildings to create a residence with annexe. Key works included installing new facades; construction of a new glazed link with bespoke engineered staircase; structural glass first floor landing and walkway; structural glass kitchen extension; pool area alterations to create a new cinema room, general refurbishment and re-development of all areas.
We provided a full Structural and Civil Engineering design service including structural investigation works, commissioning specialist surveys, initial design advice, structural and civil engineering design, site inspections and provision of on-going advice as the works were constructed.
